New Offices/Parking Lot
Phase 2
Phase 1 is all about what needs to happen now.
The main school building's cornerstone was laid on September 8, 1957. Rapidly approaching its 70th birthday, the building itself along with its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are all in desperate need of upgrades. Additionally, we must address the separation of our school buildings.
Connecting the Buildings
The main building and the St. Leo building are both being fully utilized but they are not connected. This means that regardless of the weather or circumstances, students have to cross outside between the buildings on a daily basis.
The centerpiece of Phase 1 is the construction of a new, secured corridor that will allow free passage throughout the entirety of the school's campus.

Renovation Needs

The window walls along the façade are single-pane, cracking, and mainly covered inside for more usable wall space. New windows and insulated panels will replace these.

Outdated radiators and aging mini-splits are providing inconsistent and unreliable heating and cooling. These will be replaced with central heating/air throughout the entire building.

Each classroom was only equipped with two outlets, one on either end of the room. This is untenable in our technological age. The entire building's electrical system will be upgraded.

The plumbing and fixtures are all very much outdated and will also be updated and replaced
Phase 1 Cost Estimates
Cost estimates for Phase 1 are construction estimates only. With architectural and contractor fees, the final costs of Phase 1 will be slightly higher.
Corridor
$420,000
Renovations
The renovation has a budget of $2,000,000
The architect/contractor are making their recommendations as to what can be done in Phase 1 based on that budget.
Connected in Faith
A Prayer for the Campaign and Project
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of our parish and school and for all the lives they have shaped in faith, wisdom, and service. You have blessed us for generations in Chillicothe, and we trust in Your continued guidance.
Pour out Your grace upon this project and campaign. Inspire generosity in the hearts of alumni, families, parishioners, and friends. Unite us in purpose, strengthen us in commitment, and help us to see this work as a mission for Your glory and for the future of our children.
May every gift given and every prayer offered build a lasting foundation of faith, excellence, and love. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Bishop Hogan, pray for us!
